I accept the following insurance:

BCBS BlueChoice PPO
Private Pay (Credit, Check, Cash)
Out-of-Network
Many PPO insurance plans include Out of Network benefits. In those cases, superbills can be generated for clients to submit to insurance which may result in reimbursement in part or in full.
I would also recommend checking the following questions with your insurance provider:
Does my health insurance plan cover mental health benefits?
Does my plan have a limit on how many sessions I can have per calendar year? And if so what is that limit?
What is my deductible?
Does my insurance include Out of Network benefits?

PRIVACY POLICY
Confidentiality is extremely important within the therapeutic relationship between the client and therapist and generally information cannot be shared without written consent.
Below are a list of exceptions:
If a client threatens or attempts suicide or otherwise conducts self in a manner in which there is a substantial risk of incurring serious bodily harm.
If a client threatens serious bodily harm or death to another person.
If there is reasonable suspicion of neglect, physical, emotional, or sexual abuse of a child, dependent adult, or elder.
If a subpoena is issued by a court of law.
CANCELLATION POLICY
I require at least 24 hours advance notice for cancellations. If you cancel an appointment with less than 24 hours notice, or fail to show up, you will be charged a $100 fee for the appointment.
Therapy sessions are scheduled in advance and are a time reserved exclusively for clients. When a session is canceled without adequate notice, I am unable to offer that time slot to another client.
You can cancel or reschedule your appointment by calling, texting, or through the client portal. If you are more than 10 minutes late for your appointment, it will be treated as a cancellation and you will be charged the $100 cancellation fee. It is important to note that insurance does not cover missed appointments, so you will be responsible for the full $100 fee.
This fee will only be waived due to serious illness and emergencies. If you are unsure please contact Christine for further guidance.
FAQs
What can I expect in an initial session?
When an initial appointment has been scheduled you will receive an email with a link to your client portal where you will be prompted to complete required consents and intake information prior to your initial appointment.
The initial appointment will mostly consist of gaining a better understanding of you and of what you would like to work on. We will then together come up with goals and a plan for treatment.
What is the frequency and length of therapy?
Following the initial appointment, sessions generally occur weekly at the same time each week for 55 minutes. The overall length of therapy can vary widely.
EMDR sessions generally meet one to two times per week and are generally 60-90 minutes in length. The number of sessions required vary depending on the complexity of the trauma history.
How does telehealth work?
Telehealth sessions occur over a secure video format. You will receive an email confirmation of your telehealth appointment with a unique video appointment link. You will then just click the link through your email to join the virtual appointment.
